Outfit: bustier (ASOS), high-waisted shorts (Oasap).
It feels very strange to say this, but I'm seventeen years old now––only one year away from becoming an adult. I don't feel responsible or grown up in any way though. I still can't drive, or cook, or really do anything practical for that matter. We'll see how I fare when I leave home for college in a year.

Anyways, I really like these shorts that I got from Oasap. I've been seeing them in a lot of Polyvore sets as of late, and I was so happy when Oasap decided to give me a pair. You can check them out here. Also, I'd like to thank one of the readers of this blog, Celestine Vera, for sending me a drawing that she made of me! This is the first time anyone has ever given me a drawing and I appreciate it a ton.

Weekly Update: Beauty Inspiration + BA-Star Palette

(Source: Tumblr)

Typically I'm not much very into makeup (the most I ever wear is mascara or liquid liner), but I do enjoy looking at runway makeup looks from time to time. I like the fact that they're simplistic, and often pretty subtle.  The pictures I featured above are some of my favorite looks from different collections, the most recent of which probably being Chanel (4th one down).

Last week, a company named BA-Star gifted me a neutral eyeshadow palette. I actually really like it because the colors aren't too overwhelming and I can wear them pretty casually (see swatches below). My personal favorite is the copper-red, since it's a more unique color that I've been looking for for a while. Honestly, I'm not quite sure what I'll do with the two glitter shadows, but the gold might look nice if applied to the inner corners of the eye. Anyways if you're at all interested in the palette, you can check it out on BA-Star's website here. They also provided me with a 50% off code (BBSMOKY) that you can add during checkout.

P.S. A new outfit post should be up pretty soon since Oasap sent me some new stuff.

Outfit: 3D Rose Jumper (Oasap), Petticoat (AA), Knee Highs (ASOS).

I don't think this outfit could be any girlier––a crinoline petticoat, a rosette jumper, and knee socks. And I honestly have no idea why I've always had this strange inclination toward bows and ruffles and pink. For some reason, it just makes me so happy to watch Marie Antoinette or look at pictures from old Valentino collections. Maybe it's because I lived out my childhood obsessing over tv shows like Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura, where all the characters basically wear the most ridiculous and adorable outfits you could ever imagine.

Once again, thanks to Oasap for the jumper. You can check it out on their website here.
